need help plssss our 94 s500 is leaking coolant from a small box
next to the crank pully it has a blk hose that goes to the pump can any one tell what is the box and should it leak?

help pls some pls answer

Don't know if it applies to your vehicle but on the 124s, there is a small reservoir which has a drain line that goes to the water pump. I think it is there to catch small amounts of seepage from the pump seals, but in general should not leak. I would suspect you have a water pump which is on its last legs.

I think you need a new water pump but not 100% sure, I had a similar problem. if you could describe the location a little better or attach a photo I could probably tell you.
