AMG...parts/service/ availability

I know AMG MB's are more expensive that a similar MB and I also know you can order AMG parts through any MB dealership. However, comparing to a "regular" Mercedes. Is the routine maintenance for AMG cars more expensive? What about parts prices and availability?
