battery cable
I have a 1987 190e 16v. The battery cable that goes to the alt. had a metal wrapping around it. It was for shielding the cable from the exhaust manifold. Is there any thing else that I can use to shield the cable or do I have to buy another metal rap?

Is aluminum foil tape. Available from many sources.
