Need addvice on a 2002 S500
 

Buddy of mine is willing to sell me his 2002 S500 with 106K miles on her for 3500 bucks. Car looks/drives perfect. My question's are:
What problems does this year and model have?
What year did the engine wiring harness stop falling apart?
Has anyone owned one, and can tell me what they though of there's.

Buy it and don't look back. Where on earth are you going to get a running car much less an S500 for $3,500?

That's to cheap what does it need? You could part it out and still be way ahead at that price.

Nothing is wrong with it. My buddy is just willing to pass off a good deal.
Car is out of town for a few weeks. Will fire up a few pics when I get it.

Buy it, if you don't like it you can always resell it for a profit.

Check out the 220 forum here. One word of caution though: it looks like your current cars are of the analog era, and that one is fully digital/plug-n-play (CAN bus, OBD2 etc).
