126.rear window guide block
what would be the correct way to install a new plastic guide . The block operates the window glass and has a peened in holding pin.

The MB way is to remove the lifter & grind off the original, then drive it out.
Install the new one & peen it over. Of course you can use a bolt & self locking nut as well. |
mbdoc Thanks for information.As advised i will install a self locking nut -bolt replacement instead of the pin ,in situ seems impossible to peen over.
