2000 CLK 320 AC code normal values
 

Hello All, I am trying to get to know my car and its issues. The AC does not blow cold air, you must turn the car on then off, then back on and I get alittle cool air, but it does not last. I ran the AC climate control code test. Can someone please tell me if any of the values look off? Any input is appreciated greatly. The outside temperature was around 86' when I did this, with no AC of course. :eek:Thanks!

The high side pressure is too low. Probably needs to be charged.

I'd be slightly worried about the #3 reading, suggests some HOT water flowing thru the heater core!
Almost 20deg higher than the right side heater core temp sensor.

I'd try pinching off the coolant supply line for the heater.

8 bar of pressure is OK if the engine isn't running, what is that reading with the engine running?

Thanks for your interest and help. Yes that was with the car running after I drove about 40 miles. So the hot water could cause the problem or is that something else getting ready to fail?

Your air problem is somewhat similar to what is happening to my daughter's car. 'mbdoc' suggested the problem might be the freeze sensor on the evaporator. I have not got around to looking in the service manual CD to see how much work it is to get to the freeze sensor. If I can't fix it I will take it to the local dealer.
