1989 Mercedes 500 SEL Euro - possible replacement part or conversion
 

Good afternoon all,

I need a Bosch ignition control unit for my 1989 500SEL. Does anyone have a unit that will work? Here are the part numbers, both Bosch's and MB's:

This is an eight pin unit....

Bosch - 0 227 400 706
MB's - 007 545 07 32 (02).

If you do not have the part needed, has anyone actually converted there euro car to run off of the american 560 EZL by changing the wiring harness?
