W126 moonroof leak
The car is always garaged, so the leak may be worse than I think. Usually I only noticed water after a car wash. It travels down the outside of the a-pillar. It was never very bad, but as of late I found water in the small items holder and my winter matts were holding water.
I did check for debris blocking the drain tube. its clear. I even ran a wire down it to check or blockage. I followed that by some water and all appeared well. I suspect that the tube may have a breach or is not properly secured to the drain outlet. So my main question is how to get to the tube. What interior parts have to come out and how? I would hate to damage anything.

I'd think the headliner would have to come out.
I'd have a helper spray the car with a hose in various areas until you see where the leak starts. You might find out it's not what you think... like I did ![]() -J

Ya, I figure most of the headliner will have to be dropped. But I have no clue as to how its done. I have pulled the c-pillar covers off in the back, but nothing up front.
