install emblem
 

1987 190e 16v. Very new to mercedes, how do you install grill emblem on top of hood. I put it in and it doesn't look like anything will prevent it from coming out. Please Help:D

I wrote it down somewhere here if you do a search but this is what you do...
You open the hood and use a needle nose plier to pull down and turn the metal bottom below the spring, about 90 degrees. Let go and it snaps back up into place and locks the emblem against the hood.
