How to Replace Map Pocket?

I need to replace the Map Pocket on the inside Driver Side door. I've ordered the new part but haven't disassembled the panel yet. According to the MB parts rep it is apparently "melted" on. Any suggestions as to how this would be done? Thanks.

there are usually plastic posts that you'd need to melt to be able to secure them, you'll need to snap off the old ones though.
They're kinda like rivets... except the melting part

124 Map pocket

Since this is your very first post, I'll give you a "newbie mulligan" for not posting WHAT CAR you're talking about.

Since I have my 124 driver's door apart to reglue the vinyl on the map pocket, here's what a 124 pocket looks like.

A 124 map pocket has one plastic post to press into the panel (Screwdriver is pointing to it in first photo).

The map pocket has one plastic tonque and the door panel has two, so the map pocket is inserted into three plastic tonques (blue tape marks where they are) and white clips secure it in place. The plastic post is pressed into the panel and melted.

Last, a black plastic clip is snapped into the bottom center area of the pocket through the panel first (screw driver points to clip).
