1993 500sl Trans problem
My 93 500sl won't shift into fourth gear and the shop says it is internal and needs to be replaced. I am wondering if it could just be a clogged filter or something else simple?

Since the car shifts into 2nd & 3rd, most likely the diagnosis is correct.
