W123 transmission design
Does anyone know if the transmission in the w123's was a pure MB design or was it related to some othe manufactures transmission , i.e. Ford, Chrysler, GM, etc. Is there a web site with internal photos, etc. ?

Since the late 1960's MB has designed & built ALL of their own automatic transmissions!
