SunRoof recentering help, need tips or tricks
 

I am haveing problems getting my sunroof reset after I messed with the knob in the trunk. I poped up the roof, I made the 3mm hex key 48mm long, put it in the centering hole, but seem to be at a lose as to where to start. I'm feeling that I am missing the point. I have tried five turns one way and back 10 and still no luck. How is the 3mm key supossed to fit. Does it drop in once centered or does it go a little bit in every turn. Its only going in about 2/3 the length right now. Help, I think I screwing it up. Any tricks to this.

Got it fixed, the 3mm wrench was to big. I used the thin depth gauge of a dial caliper. It found the hole, dropped in and my sun roof opens and closes again. Lesson learned, don't go pulling on s**t you don't know about.
