Rebuilding throttle Actuator for 94 M104

Has there been any luck rebuilding these things? I dont wanna spend the money for a brand new one... so, Can I rewire mine with new wiring?

Rewiring yourself, yes. Rebuilding yourself, no. Do you have ASR?

No ASR,

Make sure the replacement wire has heat resistant insulation. Also, I took copious notes and sketches to make sure the wiring was put back together properly.

You should 'test' it to make sure that's it's functioning properly before and after re-wiring.

As deanyel stated, it could have failed parts internally so rewiring will not fix it. Victor's web site has a ohmmeter test here at the bottom of the page.

Well, it works on the car as it sits.. but there's still some issues, so I'm going to see if it could use a rewire and then rewire it if needbe
