Rebuilding throttle Actuator for 94 M104
Has there been any luck rebuilding these things? I dont wanna spend the money for a brand new one... so, Can I rewire mine with new wiring?

Rewiring yourself, yes. Rebuilding yourself, no. Do you have ASR?

Make sure the replacement wire has heat resistant insulation. Also, I took copious notes and sketches to make sure the wiring was put back together properly.

You should 'test' it to make sure that's it's functioning properly before and after re-wiring.
As deanyel stated, it could have failed parts internally so rewiring will not fix it. Victor's web site has a ohmmeter test here at the bottom of the page. |
Well, it works on the car as it sits.. but there's still some issues, so I'm going to see if it could use a rewire and then rewire it if needbe
