Three devices in the kickdown circuit....fuel pump relay, kickdown switch and kickdown solenoid.
Completed circuit is one wire and operates to ground...

Im suspecting kickdown switch , carpet is kinda shrunk around kickdown switch, if i floor it several times and mash pedal hard , it seems to then kick down, once it kicks down it pulls hard,i do have a hard2-3rd shift , and ive tried adjusting bowden cable, but cant get a happy medium still get a hard 2-3 shift 1-2 under regular driving is smooth, im suspecting maybe a weak spring in what ever controls 2-3 shifting, but for now i want to fix my intermittant 2-1 downshift first , then ill tackle 2-3 shift, ill soon be starting a c36 engine swap / build so i want my tranny in good shape
