The knob can me removed by siding a narrow screwdriver into the slot at the bottom. The switch can be removed by removing the knee bolster, or going in fom the top by removing the vent. Do a search on the bolster and the vent it has been described before. It would help if you show the car model and year

Found this old post and I have similar problem. 1981 300SD. The headlight switch was hard to turn of yesterday and now it will not turn at all. Is this fixable or do I need a new headlight switch? Suppose I must remove the knee plate? |
