ABS break bleed 88 560sec
no way the mighty vac is doing the job on the brakes on this car. I have a 91 190e and a 90 420sel. had no trouble with either car and they both have ABS. I guess that this car a 88 560SEC just will have to be pressure bled. Dose any one have suggestions or know of a way to conquer the system or am I going to build my own pressure bleeder?

There is no special bleeding procedure for the ABS, just bleed normally. I've never had good luck trying to vacuum bleed, I always use a pressure bleeder.

I just went through this today and have just cleaned my tools. Indeed it's tricky to bleed an ABS system. See post # 1166 right here: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/vintage-mercedes/233438-weekend-wrenching-78.html
