Early to Late Style Wiring Harness Conversion 1994 vs 1995 E320
Long story short: I have the opportunity to buy a 1995 E320 with a bad wiring harness for around $1000. Great car otherwise. I found a 1994 E320 in the boneyard with an 2001 harness which I pulled.
The 1994 used the 124-440-56-32 part number. The 1995 used the 124-440-29-33 part number. 2 people on this forum have adapted the opposite harness to fit an early/later facelift car. They mentioned differences at the air intake temp sensor, thermostat housing, and 2 4-prong plugs somewhere on the engine. I have the air intake temp sensor and thermostat already. What else do I need to make this work? Crank sensor? MAP sensor? Knock sensor? Thanks again!
