Have you ever heard of a Dealer called "Team Verdone"?

He has a car on E-Bay and I would like to know if anyone has ever heard of the guy?

A Used Car in Arizona on E-Bay scares the Hell out of me!

I am in Arizona, but more than 100 miles from Scottsdale, and I have not heard of the dealer. There are a few people from that area on this list. It may help to put your post on the general discussion list.

I am curious about what scares you about a used car dealer of an MB in Arizona. I would think that you would prize cars from this state, because those from Phoenix and Tucson and surrounding areas are usually completely rust free.

Don't understand why you would be leary of an Arizona car. My twenty year old 300D does not have a speck of rust on it. The only rusty cars I see here come from the mid-west and the east where they drive on salt and cinders all winter and have rain every week. I know since I used to live in Pennsylvania.

It is not the car I am worrying about. It is the fact that the car looks good on the Internet (EBay) and I have no way to check the integrity of the Seller or the mechanical condition of the car from this distance. Baltimore to Scottsdale!

He has or had a beautiful BMW 635 Csi and I had an interest but the Auction would down before I could get the things moving to get the car checked out!

I am more concerned about the Broker!

I would love an Arizona car. I just don't have a way to evaluate it from 2500 miles away! Nor can I evaluate the Seller. Feedback on EBay means nothing!

I was hoping someone had experience with this guy or knew of him in Scottsdale or maybe even bought a car from him at one time or another!

Tom, you mentioned that Ebay feedback means nothing. I have been looking at Ebay vehicles for some time, but have never bid on anything, although I have been tempted.

Have you had bad experience? Why does feedback not tell the story? Do you think that bad experience with Ebay is the norm when it comes to cars? Thanks in advance.
