Merry Christmas folks. I have an opportunity to pick up a 1993 300E, and wonder how much of that car will work with my 1992 300CE? Any feedback is much appreciated.

I believe main difference would be between the HFM engine management system in the 300 E and the KE jetronic fuel injection in your 300 CE. So there will be a lot of things that you can't use.

Most of the body & chassis stuff will swap especially from the windshield forward.

What parts of the CE are you have problems with that make you want a donor?

At the moment, the CE is running ok. I have done a fair amount of replacemnt in the engine bay, along with shocks/struts. If the price was right it was a thought.
I had a E320 that was a great car until it got Tboned, so this was a thought.

Do your seat belt presenters work? Specifically, the passenger side?? I have no guts in there.

Typically, it is the accuator that goes out and unfortunately mine is not working as well. Sorry.
