Does anyone know where the relay for this is? Is it in the rear near the power seat relay? I am just guessing it is the relay. For the record the defrost light comes on and stays on.

The signal (power relay) on that car goes thru the central locking pump.

There is a 40A fuse in the trunk.

It turns out the trouble was the battery was weak. Apparently when the window heater would turn on it would sense low voltage and turn off immediately. I put in a new battery and it works fine now. Has anyone ever heard of this?

When you have networked systems like that, over/ under charge can cause all kinds of issues.
