84 190D issues or problems ?
Got an 84 190D to look at tomorrow and wondering what other than the usual mechanical items I should be looking for that are particular to the 190D?
Owner says motor has been well maintained. Body is in good shape and interior is a 6/7 of 10. Car has about 300K on it. |
I have one, just rebuilt the motor, you will love it. Does the ac work? Automatic? At 65 mph you will be turning about 3500 rpms, the car really needs one more geer. I get about 35 mpgs, I thought I would get more.

its an auto with the 3.07 Im assuming.
Dont know about the AC just that it needs a heater core. |

Just a note that the 1984 has some unique body parts, particularly the hood, firewall cowling/wiper mechanism and windshield. Those parts are not interchangeable with the 1985 or newer.

Seller turned out to be a flake. Never went to see it.
