560 SEL need vacuum help!
I need a little help.
I think I have a couple vacuum lines crossed. I am trying to figure out why I have no vacuum to my EZL module (another thread). Based on a what I have been told, and can find online, it should always have vacuum and that vacuum is relative to load. I have attached the diagrams. Its shows what appears to be a direct vacuum line to the EZL from intake manifold. However, diagrams and real world appearance are two different things. So I am wondering if anyone has pictures or can identify line colors and where they exactly go. What I have now is several lines that go under the intake at the front. So where they terminate is not obvious. Another problem is that the lines appear to have been replaced, repair. For example the EZL line goes from the EZL in a opaque line, then is joined to a bright green line with what might be a yellow stripe. From there is it fitted into a rubber hose under the intake. I can only see maybe an inch or two of that soft rubber hose. A couple other lines have soft rubber connectors on them also. Either factory, or what I think were breaks that were repaired. Another item is the EGR. I have disabled it, but the vacuum lines goes to a thermo valve. There is no vacuum amplifier in the chain as the diagrams show. Maybe I dont have one in 91, but if I am suppose to I have no clue where it went. So any help describing exactly where the lines should terminate on each end would be great. I guess worst case I have to remove the fuel distributor to access the lines under the intake and see what the heck is going on.
