Rear brake shield gasket
 

Hi: I am replacing the rear wheel bearing on a 124 wagon and have removed the brake shield.
I see a foam gasket around the parking brake cable area.
I can not find any reference to this gasket in the docs.
What have other done to replace this gasket.

It probably part of the shield. Never removed the shield to replace the bearing before. If its foam you probably could use weather strip barrier from home depot.

I finally bit the bullet and called the dealer, they have ordered it for me, cost is about $2.
