Exclamation Towing the 190e 2.6

I'm in the process of picking up another 190e 2.6 automatic and wanted to ask a question to you guys.... I am going to have to transport this car home close to 105 miles home and wanted to know..

Can the little Benz be towed via tow dolly? In the past I have used the U haul auto transport but that thing weighs close to 850lbs and there are many long hills where this car is and I don't want to stress my truck more climbing with the added weight..

1. I have heard of dolly it with the driveshaft disconnected.. I really don't want to have to bungee the driveshaft and disconnect the rear end especially laying in the dirt in the middle of the sticks.

2. Tow the car on the dolly in reverse with the steering wheels on the ground. Is this even a safe option? I know you can lock the front end but.....

If I have to then I will rent a transport but I would rather have the tow dolly with the electric brakes.

DO chime in please!!!

Thanks,
Chris
