Weird short issue. 1993 300CE W124.052
 

So If i lock my door through the car on the my 93 ce, the vacuum locks fuse blows, and i cant start my car or anything.. any ideas?

fuse c goes to the alarm. obviously, if the alarm doesn't like the signal, or lack of, from the door handle, it disables the car. me, find the short, replace the fuse and unplug the alarm module. they're notorius for causing no starts just because they failed. good luck, chuck.

thanks, going to disable the alarm, and the damned immobilizer, and rip new relays out of the junkyard.

my mechanic says it might be the vacuum pump causing shorts, lets hope not
