Any post facelift w220 owners want to jump in?

I've had quite the assortment of newer and older Mercs. I'm now looking at an '04 S500. This isn't another "what to look for before buying" thread; rather, I'd like to hear from people that actually own one and what they think of the car. I like the face lifted look as well as general improvements in reliability that come with the later cars.

Best Regards,

David

Drive a W221 first you will forget about the W220 in a minute.

Baby steps. The 221 is still out of my price range, not to mention the fact that I'm not a big fan of the exterior styling on the early 221's. I've narrowed in on an '04 S500 with one owner. I've done a lot of research over the past couple days and was curious to hear from someone's first hand experience. It seems there's a much larger active 220 crowd at the BW forum.

Best Regards,

David

A221 will be even further out of your price range if you buy a 220 first. These cars are the worst money pits i've had the misfortune of fixing.
