1995 E320 ASR......READ CODES

Pin 14
3- Right EA/CC/ISC actuator(left cylinder bank) (M16/1)
9- Left Rear Axle vehicle speed sensor from ABS/ASR control module or in 124 chassis Hall-effect speed sensor.
14- Closed throttle position contact swich

Pin 8
8- Idle speed control (ISC) system at upper or lower control stop or CC or EA indicates "limp home" mode.
9- O2S 1 (before TWC)- voltage too high, circuit open or voltage implausible.

What do you think this is pointing to in terms of my ASR lamp coming on and making the car impossible to drive.

Forgot to add the codes I read with built in diag.

Emission- read with built in diagnostic module
2- Heated oxygen sensor faulty
5- Exhaust gas recirculation faulty
6- Idle speed control faulty.

I am only concerned with fixing whatever is making my ASR come on. All help is greatly appreciated.

I erased all codes......Started car it ran for approx. 15 seconds.....Felt engine reduce idle, ASR light came on. Turned car off.....read codes again. Got the following codes

Pin 8
8

Pin 14
14

These must be the culprit to my ASR issues. What are they pointing to. Throttle position contact switch??????Is this on the gast pedal?

hey

if i remember correctly,a while back, a forum member had a limp home condition caused by an improperly adjusted throttle cable, so i guess it couldn't hurt to make sure it is adjusted correctly.

good luck

I've had those same codes for 2 years now. I've replaced everything except the license plates. Still no answer.
