Is there anyway to manually close
the sunroof?

should be in the trunk/ driver side plastic panel left side. Open the access cover and insert socket wrench from the tool kit. Placed on the hex-drive of the electric motor and turn the wrench manually to open or close the roof.Clockwise to close: counter-clockwise to open

or on the w124s you can put a socket i think
