In my opinion, the 124 Owners Bible is not worth the postage it will take to send it to your house. When I bought my 124 almost 10 years ago, it was the first resource I bought to help me understand fixing my car. I found it completely useless. Save your money and just use this forum.

I don't know about the manual but a good alternative for the wheel cover is the Wheel skins brand leather covers. I have used a few of them and have been happy with the results. Here is the web site:

It has its place...I would say if you are new to maintenance and want to start doing DIY, its good. It explains the basics well. Once you've past the fluid and filters...the factory manual covers it all.

and the factory manual is free now too!

Idk wheel covers like that just seem..cheap? My 201's steering wheel had puffed up somehow, I sourced a late 126 leather wheel from a 420SEL. $20.

I even reused the old one and made a stand out of it and my 300SD's old wheel

Don't buy that wheel cover. I purchased few years ago ($75) and skin started peeling of wood soon. It started looking worse then stock.
Now I'm using $14 cover for last 3 years and it's much better.
