W126, 300SDL sunroof not closing completely
When I use the sunroof (which blew a fuse just yesterday), it closes all the way, but does not "pop in place" completely. It looks like this:
However, if I pop it up rather than slide it back, it then closes properly: Is this a lubrication problem of some sort or is there an alignment/calibration problem?

Cheers I have the same issue.. bought the car last summer. It worked fine until I painted the car. I removed the rubber / gasket that fits in the roof. I did not note if the gasket orientation,, my bad,, so now it will not fully close,, tried the lube supplied by a sunroof manufacturer helped a wee bit but looks like yours,,I plan to tackle this job, next weekend,, by that time Ill post an update.

After opening and closing multiple times (now that it is warming up outside), it is getting a little easier, but it is still not right. In fact, when I pop it up, the first time it has a hard time and it finally opens. It is as if the cover is not sliding all the way forward when I close it after I slide it open. Is it hard to take out? I see lots of posts on it and I have the FSM for directions. I imagine that to clean and lub it probably needs to come all the way out, right?
