To anyone who has their gauge cluster out:
Can you look and see if you have a sticker on back the speedometer portion of the cluster?
It will look something like this: 420SEL:  If you do can you report back with the K value and the number above it as well as the car model? Thanks! -Kris

Here is my best file picture from my 1985 300SD cluster. Unfortunately it is not clear enough to read the entire thing. It appears the the middle numbers are K-x42x.

 It kinda looks like yours.. I can definitely see a 4 in yours.
