Subframe bushing help
I removed the rearmost driver's side bolt from the subframe bushing.
Jacked up the driver's side. The subframe did not sag enough to get the puller in. In fact I don't think it dropped a bit. Using a pry bar did not move the subframe any lower. I am thinking this may be a good indication that the subframe bushings are fine and do not require replacing as preventative maintenance. Should both rear mounts be removed at the same time? Could the bushing be seized to the mounting pin? Ideas please. |
