1995 S500 Climate Control Question...
Hi,
I am looking at a 1995 S500 and the only issue with the car is that when the climate control is switched on...regardless of it being the heat, air conditioning, front defroster or whatever is switched on...their is no air blowing out of any vents. The lights, everything works, every button does its job,the compressor kicks on when the air conditionings switched on...my question is what is the likely cause of this?My thoughts are the blower motor is shot.Any ideas? |
It is most likely the blower motor regulator. You can find a regulator without the motor to save money. Very very common problem with these cars, also when you replace make sure to change the a/c cabin filter as this can be a culprit of burning out the regulator if it has not been changed and is very dirty.
Somehow our w140 got 2 regulators and never had the filter changed. Great MB service eh? |
Get a regulator from a w210 and splice the wires,its cheeper...if I remember correctly.
