Back on 2/11 I posted a problem I was having with my 87 300E. The gas was gushing in and flooding the engine. The problem was the little O-Ring under the fuel distributor. This has been replaced and is running great. After about $1,500 in unneccessary parts the cost was $1.10 for the O-Ring.
Thanks to all for your help. The joy of driving a Mercedes is worth the sometimes aggravation. John |

A faulty o-ring caused the space shuttle Challenger to explode. You got off easy.
