Wink SHAKEING Mercedes, mmm Massage

So whenever im sitting still, ei stoplight, stop sign. The car starts to shake not harshly but enough to stop and think about it. So now whenever im stopped i slip it into neutral and it smooths out. The idle is set about 600-700, i think thats normal. How can i stop this annoyance?

Thanks ahead of time

Have your motor mounts checked. My 90 300e vibrated like crazy during idle while in gear. The motor mounts had collapsed and the motor practically sits on the frame. After I had the mounts replaced it was like a different car.

Chris,

I paid a shop $138 for the parts plus $130 in Labor (2hrs @ 65). If you do it yourself you can probably do it for less than I paid for the parts. Go on-line and search for the cost of the mounts.
