W124 E320 coupe pollen filter replacement
 

hello everyone, has anyone replaced the pollen filters on the late w124 models? I believe the pollen filter were in the 94-95 models. I understand the blower motor is under the wiper assembly. Is the filter replaced though that route or is there an easier way to do so.

I am thinking that since this is a part that came in towards the end of the production cycle, that this part was just somehow crammed in there and convenience of changes was probably not engineered in there. Hopefully I am wrong.

If anyone has any experience with this, let me know some details! I have the older manual and they do not talk about the filter. Thanks.

I don't think they were ever able to put the time into writing a DIY article - they started work on their shop and got real busy. Maybe if you email them they will have directions, and you can do a picture essay for the DIY section!
