Hours/Cost effort for amateur to ri-ring 240D engine

How many hours and how much time would it take me to rebuild this engine correctly this time? It burns oil like crazy. Lasttime I rebuilt it I didnt rebore the cylinders and I used non-OEM rings. I like this Car a lot.....
