Hi All, I am new to this forum so apologies up front if I mess anything up... ! I have an '81 240D which runs great. One problem I cannot solve is that the front passenger seat is pushed all the way back on the seat rails and is stuck. My girlfriend ran it all the way back about six months ago and since then I cannot move it - I have tried with all my (puny) might to free it but it is firmly stuck. It is a manual seat - no electrics. Kind of a pain when anyone with long legs is in the back seat. Any ideas as to how to fix it short of taking the whole thing out ? I think a nickel or dime might have fallen into the rail jamming it in position, has anyone had this happen before ? Thanks in advance !
