Brake pad break-in? (No, no one stole them...)

I just installed new pads/rotors on the front my C230. Does anyone remember the break in period to seat the pads? I figured as gentle use as possible for a couple tanks fulls (1200km's/800miles), but should I go even longer before giving them some heat/exercise?
