Bad rear diff mount symptoms?
Would a bad rear diff mount cause the rear end of the car to "jog" to one side on acceleration only? E verytime I get on the gas I feel the rear end move to one side.

Diff mounts will give you a clunk when shifting. Look at your suspension links. At lease one pair (left and right) out of the 5 sets need to be replaced. Any that have the rubber end bushing that looks like its oozing out of the housing should be replaced. Follow the service manual procedures (final tightening done with the suspension on the ground or on a ramp, wheels loaded with car weight).

I just looked at all the links in the rear. I couldn't find any play with the prybar, but sometimes you can't tell if they've failed internally, right?
What about the rear control arm (lower) bushings? How hard are those to replace? Should I just buy new arms with bushings installed? |
