1990 mercedes 190e

boggs down when you give it to much gas now wont start unless you use starting fluid and will only stay running if continue to spray starter fluid to it how do i fix the problem?

Possibly the fuel pump or fuel pump relay

Or fuel pressure regulator or issue with the fuel distributor or EHA/Air meter/Idle valve.
