So just where did MB hide the engine oil filter on the '93 300E 3.2 six banger? And, of course, Chilton's leaves MB completely out of their repair manuals! Where's it hidden?........the pan?........valve cover?.......trunk?.........I don't want to disassemble the whole car, but really, an external spin on would bring MB into the 21st century!

The oil filter is located in the most ingenious spot!!!! On top instead of underneath!!! look between the valve cover and the firewall, there is a black plastic cap shaped like a oil filter. Remove the cap lefty loosey and remove the paper filter element. On newer models Its located in front which was an even better idea.
Good Luck! Adam
