W201 Steering Gear Box Replacement Brand?
 
Hey everyone,

I know that C&M Hydraulic is the brand of choice for steering boxes however I've not been able to find any of their units for my 201.

I have only been able to find Maval units for about $360.

Anyone have any experience with them?

Call THESE guys (Outside of Birmingham) on the off chance that they can fix it.

So, in general, whats the pecking order for preferred reman gearboxes?

C&M
ZF?
Maval?

EPC reports most recent part number to be
201 460 00 51 (not for sports undercarriage)
201 460 05 51 (sports undercarriage only)

I wonder what the difference is..

neither of which that ZF website seems to have available. Email sent though.
