you can get a used head for $200-$300.have the machine shop pressure test and surface it and replace the guides,grind seets,and reuse valves if they're still good. you should be good for another 100k or more. should cost around 500 in labor,200-250 in parts( guides,gasket set,seals,coolant,oil,etc) if you don't need new valves and about 300-400 in machine shop labor.....paul
