'86 420 Brake Bleed/Flush
Hi, got the master cylinder changed and hooked up the Motive to bleed and flush. With 15 psi on the gauge, it would hold the pressure, and I started with the right rear bleed screw. I never really got the flow I expected frpom either rear caliper. I finally pumped the pedal slowly a few times on each side. At the right front I got the steady flow I expected and after a few bubbles, clean fluid. Left front did not get much flow. A drive test revealed a very nice solid pedal and performance as expected.
What am I doing wrong, or am I expecting too much flow? I was surprised I did not flow a lot of new fluid out of the bleeder and master cylinder reservoir. |
