1990 300ce-24v Oil Filter Housing Leak
My m104 has a horrible oil leak from the oil filter housing area (read: 1qt a week). I've traced it to the housing gasket using mirrors on sticks and by using talcum powder. From what I can see, I will have to pull my intake manifold to make the repair. Is there any tips or tricks you all may know of, or any other maintenance I should do while I'm in there? I tried searching before posting but wasn't able to come up with much.
Thanks, Mike Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk |

Yes, removal of the intake is required.
Also make sure to get new coolant hose & clamps.
