strange
a 2007 s,and 2012 s customers complain that there cars die when crossing railroad track.Is it EMP,or the immoblelizer?

If it was an EMP strong enough to kill the car, it would probably fry computers and such. Sounds like a loose battery connection, etc.

lots of survivalist websites make that claim, but studies by FEMA (supposedly) claim most cars suffer no permanent damage, simply a shutdown that should only require a restart, or possibly disconnect the battery to clear the computer. Guess we wont know for sure till it BEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Are you certain that it isn't just the traction control kicking in on the slippery rails and momentarily killing the power, or do the cars' engines completely cut off and require restarting?
