Resurrecting '88 300TE from the Dead

Have an '88 300TE that has sat for maybe 6 years and I'm trying to bring it back to life.

Drained old gas, replaced the fuel pump, checked the filter and added new gas but no start. Add a little gas in the intake and it runs for a moment.

Tried different fuel pump relays and finally jumpered the fuel pump at the relay plug, got fuel pressure at the fuel distributor 'in' side and at the pressure regulator but no start. Depressing fuel distributor plate with cracked injector line produces no fuel.

The idle air motor to fuel distributor hose is brittle so I've ordered that and a few other hoses for good measure.

Where do I go now? Could vacuum leaks in idle air motor hose cause no fuel at all to injectors? I also find it hard to believe three fuel pump relays are bad, it is the BACK relay of the two behind the ECU, right? It must be as jumpering two contacts at the middle run the fuel pump but...

Thanks for any pointers!
