DC to NC to DC roadtrip, parts hauling

I'm looking into making a road trip down to Raleigh, NC to pick up a head from someone. I'd rather not make the trip, but the part is worth it to me and I'd rather not ship it.

So, to make my wife and wallet happy, is anyone interested in using part of my car as a parts hauler?

Estimated dates February 8th-10th or 16-18th?
Route used (can deviate if necessary, but not several states over).
Gaithersburg, MD to Raleigh, NC - Google Maps

I might even make it down to Fort Bragg or Fayetteville on my own. I was born there and haven't been back in awhile.

I will be driving either a 1984 300D (sedan) or if I'm really lucky my "new" 1983 300TD (wagon). So don't expect me to pick up an engine. (that is, unless you have a trailer and want to hook my wagon up with a hitch)

A few limitations.

-Space will be limited to passenger and cargo areas of the car (no roof items).
-I will be the only one in the car, so the passenger seat is open.
-I can carry oily leaky things IF I am notified PRIOR to picking them up
-If you want 4 wheels or something large, I expect you to pay for the space if you are taking from others

If it isn't clear, some compensation for hauling is customary depending on the size/bulkiness of the part. I'm not setting a standard fee or anything, nor do I feel like even asking money for each part. I'm just not up for getting screwed over for a third time of hauling parts with little to no reward. Especially heavy, stinky parts which flattened out my seat and ruined my mileage... (Not speaking of anyone on this board... that I know of anyway)
